Democrats Forced Between Conspiracy Theories Or Losing 2024

Democrats have long been beholden to their activist base, but they’ve usually been able to mitigate most of the insanity from the Left’s calls for proposals. Today, however, the terrorist attack launched by Hamas in October has wholly changed the party’s internal dynamics, leading to threats, both political and physical, that party leaders can no longer contain, even if they try.

Now, the loud, anti-Israel, pro-Palestine population in those swing states is threatening to block Biden in 2024 because he believes Israel has the right to defend itself after the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.

While Biden has taken flak from both sides over his handling of the war, Muslim Americans have been particularly vocal. Now, Muslim leaders from Michigan, Minnesota, Arizona, Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania are scheduled to meet in Dearborn, Michigan, to turn their opposition into action through an anti-Biden campaign dubbed #AbandonBiden, writes The Washington Examiner.

This #AbandonBiden 2024 conference is set against the backdrop of the upcoming 2024 presidential election and the decision to withdraw support for President Biden due to his unwillingness to call for a ceasefire and protect innocents in Palestine and Israel,” the group told Axios in a statement.

“Leaders from swing states will work together to guarantee Biden’s loss in the 2024 election,” it added.

Muslim American figures have been warning for almost as long as the war has been underway that Biden’s support for Israel could cost him support in 2024.

Axios reviewed the 2020 election results in crucial swing states and found that if even a small percentage of Democratic voters from the Arab American and Muslim American population stays home, they will be in deep trouble.

“In Michigan, for example, Biden won in 2020 by 154,000 votes. Census estimates put the state’s Arab American population around at least 278,000.

Biden won Arizona by 10,500 votes. The Arab American population in the Grand Canyon State is estimated to be 60,000.

Biden took Georgia by 11,800 votes. The Arab American population there is at least 57,000.”

While these groups, at least their radical allies, have made electoral threats, they have also launched violence against Democrats.

Last month, the DNC Headquarters was attacked by activists demanding a ceasefire in a clash that one congresswoman said was more frightening than January 6, 2021.

They also “protested” the lighting of the Christmas tree in New York City, clashing with police.

And, just last Thursday, a Democrat announced that his house had been vandalized by anti-Israel activists. While not giving specific details, Rep. Adam Smith from Washington released a statement saying, “Last night, my house was vandalized by people advocating for a ceasefire in Israel and Gaza. This attack is sadly reflective of the coarsening of the political discourse in our country, and is completely unwarranted, unnecessary, and harmful to our political system.”

The threats from leftwing, pro-Palestine activists are working as Democrats cower in fear of their radical base.

In Dubai over the weekend, for example, Vice President Kamala Haris argued for the strengthening of the Palestinian Authority’s “security” force and blamed Israel, not Hamas, which has long used women and children as human shields, for civilian deaths during the war.

Nate Silver, the political prognosticator, among others has pointed out that the problem for Democrats is that the people they are coddling are essentially conspiracy theorists who spread misinformation online, such as Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who, despite clear American intelligence showing otherwise, continues to claim that Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza that was actually struck by an errant pro-Hamas rocket.

Ben Dreyfuss, former editorial director of the leftwing magazine Mother Jones, has noted that we are witnessing the Left essentially turn into a bigger version of QAnon, the pro-Trump conspiracy theorist that believes JFK Jr. will return to support Donald Trump in his quest for reclaiming the White House.

He claims that a broad coalition of left-wing activists has been driven insane by the attacks of October 7 and Israel’s response. He has documented their foolishness:

The plans found on the dead Hamas terrorists? Those couldn’t be real because Hamas couldn’t possibly have color printers.

The babies who were beheaded? Those babies’ heads fell off postmortem.

The reports of rapes? The oldest wartime propaganda lies in the book!

The missile that hit the hospital? Israel did that! (Islamic Jihad did it.)

Hamas couldn’t be under the other hospital! (They were under the other hospital.)

The guns in the MRI room? Planted.

On and on.

At every point, the Left has had some new insane conspiracy theory, and they can basically all be summed up as “the powerful Israelis have faked this to justify their oppression and slaughter of the oppressed Palestinians, BUT they are also so incompetent at it that random lunatics on Twitter can catch them!”

Are Democrats going to continue to cower in fear from lunatic threats or will they fully embrace the fringe conspiracy theorists? The answer seems clear:

During any normal time, a president saying that a terrorist organization wants to be destroyed would be considered lunacy. Today, under this president, it’s considered mainstream.
