Biden Using ‘Terrorist’ Program To Target Conservative Groups

[Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ]

The Biden administration has begun using taxpayer money to attack conservatives and Christians in the name of “anti-terrorism.” While an astonishing breach of democratic norms, it should not be altogether surprising. Under the current administration, the Department of Justice has been accused of spying on Catholics, and the president has labeled many conservatives, “Ultra-MAGA,” a codeword deployed by Democrats to get away with calling regular Republicans like Mitt Romney “semi-fascists.”

For example, last year, he listed what has essentially Paul Ryan’s agenda for the past decade as “Ultra-MAGA.”

Now it appears that the reasoning behind the president’s move may be to target mainstream Republicans and the groups that support them as “terrorist” threats.

The conservative watchdog group now has a report showing that the White House is giving taxpayer money the University of Dayton to fund a program that lumps conservative groups into the same categories as Nazis under a concept called the “Pyramid of Far-Right Radicalization.”

Fox News shared the details of the Media Research Center’s findings:

“This terrorism task force is engaged in an active effort to demonize and eliminate Christian, conservative, and Republican organizations using federal taxpayer dollars,” said Brent Bozell, founder and president of the Media Research Center. “What we have uncovered calls for criminal prosecution. The American people need to know those who are abusing their positions in the federal government will be held accountable for their criminal behavior.”

One such grantee was the University of Dayton for its PREVENTS-OH program, which DHS awarded $352,109 to “draw on the expertise of the University of Dayton faculty” to fight “domestic violence extremism and hate movements.”

Among the organizations and movements displayed on the pyramid were the Republican Party, the Heritage Foundation, the American Conservative Union, Fox News, Breitbart News, the National Rifle Association, PragerUniversity, Tea Party Patriots, the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement, the pro-police Blue Lives Matter movement, and the Christian Broadcasting Network.

The pyramid also included hate groups like The Base, a neo-Nazi paramilitary group, and the Daily Stormer, a pro-Nazi publication, seemingly comparing them to mainstream organizations such as the GOP.

The leader of the Media Research Center, Brent Bozell, said that during a conference where the “Pyramid of Far-Right Radicalization” was examined, several keynote speakers compared top Republicans with those who initiated the Holocaust.

He told Fox Business, “One speaker was associating Ron DeSantis with the Holocaust. One speaker was associating Donald Trump with Pol Pot, the genocide guy. One speaker did this, he advocated programs to deny people to shut down their websites, to close their meetings, and to physically prevent them from assembling in public.”

The Daily Signal reported that “Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts and the leaders of other conservative organizations named as targets in the Media Research Center’s report learned of the findings in a letter dated Friday from Daisy Judge, MRC’s external affairs manager. MRC, founded in 1987, says the “Exposed” report, written by Luis Cornelio and Tim Killcullen, is the result of investigative efforts under the Freedom of Information Act.

The Department of Homeland Security “resisted producing documents pursuant to our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to date,” according to the executive summary. But, it says, “MRC Free Speech America has acquired scores of documents directly from DHS grant recipients and other related organizations revealing the true and nefarious nature of the Biden administration’s objectives.”

Jordan is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee as well as of the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, which is conducting hearings on what it considers questionable activities by the Biden administration.”

Bozell has argued that the group’s findings should lead to criminal investigations. You can read their full outline of the programs targeting conservatives online.

Again, it’s hard not to ask: “who are the semi-fascists again?
