By Last fall, liberals, particularly in the media, tried everything they could do to undermine the success of the movie Sound of Freedom, claiming that the movie had something to do with a “QAnon” conspiracy theory.
The “conspiracy theory” in question was that child trafficking exists and Democrats are not particularly concerned about it.
Where oh where could someone come up with that idea?
Vox wrote that the time that “Sound of Freedom has also generated a considerable amount of scathing left-wing backlash, aimed at both the movie itself, with its QAnon-adjacent rhetoric, and the film’s target audience. Multiple left-wing critics have spent parts of their reviews of the film itself denigrating the way its fans are watching it, with one critic seemingly appalled that audiences “acted like they were at Top Gun.” For their part, those audiences have flocked to the theater with the zeal of parishioners. Some fans have described attending the movie as a “duty,” while others have spun conspiracy theories that movie theaters are trying to prevent them from seeing the film — which, of course, just generates more determination to watch the film to spite the libs.”
Now, another adviser to a Democratic president, this time Barack Obama, has been arrested after being charged with child sex crimes.
Rahamim ‘Rami’ Shy, 46, who co-ordinated the US government’s strategy to combat terrorists from Al Qaeda and the Taliban, is accused of arranging the commission of a child sex offence, court documents reveal, according to The Daily Mail.
He is also charged with possession of two category C indecent images of children and possessing a prohibited image of a child.
Shy, a US citizen, who lives in New Jersey, worked for the White House under president Barack Obama and secretary of state Hillary Clinton, was arrested in late February by Bedfordshire Police. He was charged the following day and appeared at Luton Crown Court via video-link from HMP Bedford on Friday wearing a grey prison-issue tracksuit.
He was not asked to enter a plea to any of the charges and was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing in June.
From 2008 to 2014, Shy held a prominent position within the US Treasury Department, providing counsel to officials on combatting terrorist financing and assisting in the enforcement of sanctions against adversarial governments worldwide. Additionally, he acted as a key advisor to the late Richard Holbrooke, who served as the US ambassador to the last three Democratic presidents.
This is the second time in a year that someone connected to a Democrat in the White House has been arrested and charged for crimes against children.
Shy’s arrest comes as another liberal bastion, Hollywood, has been rocked by a documentary about child actors being abused.
One prominent liberal in Hollywood has said enough is enough. Bill Maher recently used his platform to offer his takeaways from the Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV docuseries.
“As one of the few people in the public eye who’s gone through life and never had kids, someone’s got to tell me why I’m always having to defend them,” the host said. “I don’t even like them, but I do think it’s every adult’s job to protect them.”
