Kamala Announces Scheme To Use Tax Money To Register Mostly Democrats

As the polls continue to turn in favor of Donald Trump, the White House appears to be willing to pull out all the stops to juice Democratic turnout and secure a second term.

The administration sees liberal college students as an underutilized voting group that they hope to unleash in 2024.

Last week, New Conservative Post noted that “Joe Biden has become so desperate to be reelected that the White House has not only announced it is breaking the law, but has gone out of the way to brag about doing so. The president recently announced that despite being blocked by the Supreme Court, his administration will be trying to use taxpayer money to buy votes, “forgiving” student loans for over 100,000 students.

In a cynical move, those receiving the money from the government will receive a personal note from the president letting them know how lawless he is.”

Now, the Biden Banana Republic is resorting to paying college students to “register voters” in the name of “voter access” as part of the work-study program, a federally funded financial aid program that gives students part-time jobs to help cover their educational expenses. These work opportunities are typically on-campus or in community service positions related to the student’s field of study.

The goal is to assist students with their educational costs while also providing valuable work experience. Now it means using federal funds to help re-elect the president and train more “community activists.”

While meeting with activist groups, Kamala Harris announced that the federal government will be using federal work-study grants to fund what is effectively a Democratic voter drive.

“We have been doing work to promote voter participation for students, and for example, we have, under the federal work-study program, now allow students to get paid through federal work-study to register people and be non-partisan poll workers,” she said.

The vice president claimed that “enticing students with federal work study funds” would help them get engaged with their communities, according to The Daily Mail.

“As we know, this is important for a number of reasons,’ she said. ‘One to engage our young leaders in this process and activate them in terms of their ability to strengthen our communities but also, this is the work that we need to do knowing that so many poll workers have left this work for a variety of reasons which we will also discuss.”

In 2021, Biden tasked Harris with handling “voting rights” and she was recently called out for labeling liberal activists as “nonpartisan poll workers.”

A recent memo from The Department of Education stated, “The Department is today clarifying that FWS funds may be used for employment by a Federal, State, local, or Tribal public agency for civic engagement work that is not associated with a particular interest or group.

Postsecondary institutions play a critical role in supporting our democratic process and ensuring that all students have access to resources to engage in our electoral process. The Department is committed to supporting institutions in their efforts to raise civic awareness and involvement among students through the appropriate employment of FWS recipients in positions involving voter registration activities.”

No one can honestly believe that deploying university students to register voters will do anything other than help Democrats at the polls. A recent study of university professors, for example, found that Democrats outnumber Republicans on campus on a ratio of at least 2 to 1 and over 50 percent of professors polled said they “dislike” rightwing voters.

Polling in 2020 showed that college students supported Biden by a 4:1 margin, 70 percent to 18 percent.

College students have increasingly grown radical over the past few years. Last July, The Hill explained, “74 percent of all students say professors should be reported for saying something found offensive, while 26 percent disagree.

Eighty-one percent of liberal students and 53 percent of conservative ones agree with reporting the professor, according to the survey.

These results are similar to last year’s survey, where 85 percent of liberal students and 56 percent of conservative students believed in reporting professors for saying something they disagree with.”

Another poll revealed that antisemitism has grown by leaps and bounds among college-aged students. In December, The National Review explained that “when asked, ‘Do you think that the attacks on Jews were genocidal in nature or not genocidal?” 62 percent of respondents aged 18 to 24 said yes. However, when asked, “Do you think the Hamas killing of 1200 Israeli civilians in Israel can be justified by the grievances of Palestinians or is it not justified?’ a 51 percent to 49 percent majority said the attacks were justified.

To repeat: Sixty-two percent say the attacks were genocidal, but only 49 percent say the genocide against Jews wasn’t justified.”

The polling came on the heels of three elite university presidents being ridiculed after labeling calls for the genocide of Jews to be “context-dependent” in regards to violating school policies.

Who’s excited for our new army of federally funded poll workers?
