Politico reported in December that “President Joe Biden’s son insisted to a gathering of reporters that he wants to testify publicly and not in a private meeting, as Republicans demanded in a subpoena. And he teed off against GOP investigators like Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.), accusing them of having “impugned my character” and “attacked” members of his family.

Here I am, Mr. Chairman, taking up your offer when you said we can bring these people in for depositions or committee hearings, whichever they choose. Well, I’ve chosen. I’m here to testify in a public hearing today to answer any of the committee’s legitimate questions,’ Hunter Biden said at a press conference near the Capitol.

‘Republicans do not want an open process where Americans can see their tactics. … What are they afraid of? I’m here. I’m ready,’ he added.”

Last week, after being invited to testify under oath in public alongside two of his former business partners, Hunter changed his mind. The crown prince of the Biden family originally testified in front of Congress in a closed-door deposition.

After hearing what the two witnesses scheduled to testify alongside Hunter said, it’s not surprising that the president’s son would rather risk contempt of Congress than testify in public.

As a part of the the House Oversight and Accountability committee’s investigation into President Biden’s potential involvement into Hunter’s foreign business, Tony Bobulinski and Jason Galanis will appear for a testimony on Tuesday. Bobulinski blasted those who have criticized his character through his testimonials and Galanis detailed the value the Biden name brought to business deals, according to opening statements obtained by the Daily Caller.

“The Biden defenders’ outrageous dishonesty and vile attempts at assassinating my character are as predictable as they are disgusting,” Bobulinski wrote. “As a former Naval officer, I do not understand this world of partisan outrage and insanity; I struggle to process it, and I despise it.”

Bobulinski went on to detail his previous business career and military experience while stressing the importance of the hearing for the American people, the opening statement says. Hunter Biden’s former business partner claimed President Biden was the “brand” being sold, the testimony says.

“I want to be crystal clear: from my direct personal experience and what I have subsequently come to learn, it is clear to me that Joe Biden was ‘the Brand’ being sold by the Biden family,” Bobulinski added. “His family’s foreign influence peddling operation — from China to Ukraine and elsewhere — sold out to foreign actors who were seeking to gain influence and access to Joe Biden and the United States government.”

Bobulinski laid out the case against Hunter and his uncle, Jim Biden. The National Review explained, “Bobulinski cited three examples of alleged perjury from Hunter Biden’s sworn testimony last month, accusing Hunter of lying about: the timeline of his business relationship with CEFC, his father’s interactions with his business associates, and the threatening text he sent a Chinese businessman in which he demanded payment and said he was sitting next to his father.

‘Hunter Biden gave his transcribed interview to the House Oversight Committee on February 28 and lied throughout his testimony,’ Bobulinski said in his written testimony.

Hunter Biden said his work for CEFC began with a retainer in 2017. However, Bobulinski insists, based on conversations he said he had with Hunter, that the Biden business relationship with CEFC goes back further, possibly to Joe Biden’s time as vice president.

Hunter Biden claimed his father never interacted with his son’s business partners and repeatedly denied his father’s involvement in those dealings. However, Hunter Biden confirmed Joe Biden met Bobulinski and multiple foreign business partners, and spoke to business associates on speakerphone.”

Bobulinski explained that Joe Biden was “the brand.” He was the sole reason Hunter Biden had anyone interested in participating in business with him.

Alongside Bobulinski, The Wall Street Journal reported, “imprisoned former Biden associate Jason Galanis is testifying virtually about the business enterprise he worked on with Hunter Biden and other business partners. Galanis’ opening statement on Wednesday mirrors private testimony in which he claimed Joe Biden helped his son finalize deals with Chinese and Russian business partners.”

Hunter’s former business associate validated everything Bobulinski claimed.

“The entire value-add of Hunter Biden to our business was his family name and his access to his father, Vice President Joe Biden,” Galanis testified.

Bobulinski did not just go after Hunter and Jim Biden, however. He also spent a portion of his opening statement going after Democrat Jamie Raskin, who has been attacking him for years, calling him a liar.

One reporter explained why Bobulinski needed to be attacked so viciously by Raskin.

The witness also caused New York Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez to melt down during the testimony. At one point, AOC appeared to claim in defense of Biden that “RICO is not a crime,” something that would likely be surprising for Donald Trump to hear.

In his own opening statement, Chairman James Comer “outlined how the Bidens sold Joe Biden around the world to enrich the Biden family. He described how Joe Biden acted as the closer by dining, attending meetings, speaking on speakerphone, and having coffee with his son’s foreign business associates as they funneled millions to the Biden family. Chairman Comer concluded by pointing to the only two explanations for the Bidens’ scam: either Joe Biden knew what he was doing and is complicit, or he had no idea what his family was doing and is incompetent.

The Oversight Committee has found no credible evidence of the Bidens providing any work product. The Committee has identified no legitimate value or document or even one single hour of work that the Bidens have provided their business partners.

What is apparent, after over a year of investigation, is that the Bidens do not work in any traditional sense of the word. They do not work as consultants. Or lawyers. Or advisors. The Bidens don’t sell a product or a service or a set of skills.”

There is only one conclusion that could be made from the evidence and witness testimony: the Bidens sell Joe Biden, and those sales will likely lead to impeachment.
