The FBI is examining at least seven social media accounts that appeared to signal advance knowledge of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination on September 10, 2025, according to three individuals familiar with the probe and screenshots obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The posts, some directly naming Kirk or the date of his death, were deleted shortly after the killing, intensifying scrutiny of their origins and possible ties to suspect Tyler Robinson, 22.
According to The Washington Free Beacon, a Twitter post from September 3 read, “itd be funny if someone like charlie kirk got shot on september 10th LMAO.” Another, dated August 6, predicted, “september 10th will be a very interesting day,” followed by a cryptic comment after the assassination: “I plead the fifth.” Screenshots of these messages, authenticated and passed to the FBI by a source, have circulated widely online.
Several accounts now under federal review appear rooted in LGBT subcultures. A user styling themselves “Osamu bin Tezuka” with the handle “@fujoshincel” invoked a Japanese anime genre centered on male romantic relationships. Another, “@NajraGalvz,” identifying as nonbinary, posted both about Kirk’s death and the expectation that “something big will happen” during his Utah campus appearance. A TikTok clip uploaded the night before the shooting featured a transgender-identifying speaker declaring, “charles james kirk…does not know what’s coming tomorrow,” before adding, “This isn’t a threat. It’s a promise.”
One account—“churbum75m (SAW TYLER JUNE 30)”—posted “WE FU**ING DID IT” within minutes of Kirk being pronounced dead. That account follows “lanclotl” on TikTok, an alias reportedly tied to Robinson’s roommate and alleged romantic partner, Lance Twiggs.
The Free Beacon posted the social media messages on Twitter:

The messages do not conclusively establish coordination with Robinson, but their timing and specificity have drawn FBI attention. The inquiry parallels a wider investigation, first reported by The New York Post, into whether pro-transgender groups such as Armed Queers SLC had prior knowledge of Robinson’s plans. The group’s logo, which depicts high-caliber rifle rounds, is also being scrutinized.
The FBI has declined public comment, and no verified link between the posts and Robinson’s actions has yet been established. For now, the probe remains focused on untangling whether the online chatter represents coincidence, foreknowledge, or a deeper connection to the assassination plot.
The newspaper wrote that taken together, they leave a trail of breadcrumbs for investigators who are trying to determine whether Robinson acted all on his own, or had accomplices.
Utah group Armed Queens SLC, whose logo features two high-powered rifle rounds similar to the one that struck Kirk, hosted a lecture on “queer resistance” at the University of Utah in September, 2023 — around 45 miles from Utah Valley University where the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder and Trump ally lost his life.
Flyers promoting the event hosted in partnership with self-described “leftist student organization” Mecha de U of U obtained by Young America’s Foundation feature a young woman clad in two ammo belts and clutching an AK-47, with her finger on the trigger.
The flyer includes a prominent hammer and sickle, as well as a rainbow flag, and includes the words “agitate, educate, organize.”
In an interview with Voyage Utah last year, a representative for Armed Queers SLC said in response to a question about risk-taking, “Our commitment to something much bigger than ourselves, to people’s struggles against racism, transphobia, and capitalism, means much more to us than any risk.”

The man accused of fatally shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk left behind a note declaring his intent, according to FBI Director Kash Patel.
Patel said on Monday that Tyler Robinson, 22, wrote before the attack that he had “an opportunity to take out” Kirk and was “going to make use of it.” The FBI chief added that the message, though later destroyed, was reconstructed by investigators, wrote The New York Times.
Forensic evidence has also tied Robinson to the weapon believed to have been used in the September 10 assassination at Utah Valley University. Patel told “Fox & Friends” that Robinson’s DNA was found on a towel wrapped around a bolt-action rifle as well as on a screwdriver discovered on the rooftop from which the fatal shot was fired.
Patel revealed that Robinson suggested his intentions in both a written note and a text message exchange, though he did not specify the recipient of the message. The circumstances surrounding the destruction of the note remain unclear, and Patel did not say whether anyone other than Robinson saw it before the killing.
