Hillary Clinton Will Never Get Over 2016

Hillary Clinton will never be able to get over twice squandering her chance to be president. Earlier in the week she went on MSNBC and again claimed that the 2016 election was stolen from her. This time, rather than saying “I lost because I didn’t go to Wisconsin, said claimed Donald Trump defeated her because he had the audacity to try and keep negative stories from coming to light.

“Clinton, who ran against Trump as the Democratic nominee in 2015, commented on the hush money trial against the former president related to the 2016 election currently underway in New York City. The trial – now in its fourth week is the only one of the four criminal cases against Trump that has gone to trial thus far,” reported NY 1.

“The one that is going on now currently in New York is really about election interference,” Clinton said on MSNBC on Thursday. “It is about trying to prevent the people of our country from having relevant information that may have influenced how they could have voted in 2016 or whether they would have voted.”

While paying hush money isn’t inherently unlawful, prosecutors seek to demonstrate that, in this instance, the payment was intended to bolster Trump’s presidential campaign, constituting election interference.

“I think the defendant, the former president, knew exactly what he was doing when he went to such great lengths to try to squash, bury, kill stories, pay off people because he understood the electoral significance,” Clinton continued.

Some conservatives, however, weren’t having it, especially Jonathan Turley.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley skewered former First Lady Hillary Clinton Thursday for attacking former President Donald Trump over the alleged payout to porn star Stormy Daniels, writes The Daily Caller.

“They are saying you rigged an election or a race that was already run, that’s what doesn’t make sense to us,” Turley said. “The hilarious aspect of that earlier clip with Hillary Clinton is that she actually makes the case for Trump, because when she ‘says how dare you keep information from the public,’ The Clinton campaign lied to the media about funding the Steele dossier. How did they hide it? They said it was legal expenses with Marc Elias. And when they were facing a fine, they litigated that and said noit really is a legal expense. So her campaign did exactly what she is suggesting here, but they did it before the election.”

The Steele dossier was a key source behind the FBI’s investigation into allegations that the Trump campaign engaged in election interference with Russia in 2016. In October 2016, the FBI offered the dossier’s author, Christopher Steele, $1 million to corroborate allegations made in the document, according to testimony by FBI supervisory analyst Brian Auten.

Steele ultimately failed to “prove the allegations,” Auten testified.

“What Trump is being accused of is giving the wrong notation, which he may not have had anything to do with, after the election was over that somehow affected the election,” Turley said. “The fact that judge Juan Merchan has allowed this case to go forward on these conflicted elements of the theory is one of the biggest complaints I have against him, that most judges, I think, would have approached this case very differently and many would not have had this case go to trial.”

The comments from Hilary are especially galling when you remember that she served as the hatchet man for covering up the sexual controversies of her husband, Bill Clinton.

As Rich Lowry wrote in Politico during the 2016 elections, Hillary has spent much of her adult life giving feminist credibility to her husband’s wrongdoings against women.

“Hillary Clinton’s self-image as a feminist champion has always been at odds with her political partnership with a serial womanizer whose electoral career has depended on discrediting and smearing the women with whom he’s had dalliances. The disconnect is a little as if Jane Sanders were married to Lloyd Blankfein.

Hillary tends to get a pass, because the 1990s were a long time ago, the media often scold anyone who brings up the scandals, and most politicians think it’s bad form to talk about someone else’s marriage. Unconstrained by all these boundaries, Trump is hitting her with his characteristic abandon.

Hillary was always with the sisterhood, except when one of the sisters piped up about Bill having sex with her or grossly mistreating her, in which case Hillary was with the patriarchy — i.e., her powerful, entitled husband — all the way.

It wasn’t a Clinton enemy that came up with the phrase “bimbo eruption,” but an ally and friend, Betsey Wright. The word “bimbo,” by the way, says it all about the contempt Clinton World had for women with the poor judgment to succumb to Bill’s wiles.”

Maybe Hillary should sit this one out and focus on where she’s sending her money instead. One of her friends tried to destroy the Magna Carta in a museum today.
