Activists Attack Trump’s Most Prideful Object

Liberals have long been triggered by the existence of anything that goes against what they decided was morally proper five minutes ago. For example, when liberals supported policing, Joe Biden helped write the 1994 Crime Bill. Now, when he’s president, the law he helped enact has been deemed terrible and racist.

On college campuses, wearing the wrong Halloween costume can get you in trouble, and don’t even try to attend a speech by a conservative speaker. If you do, you may find yourself hiding for your safety like Riley Gaines did earlier in the year

In liberal Los Angeles, one resident has become triggered by the sidewalk, particularly seeing former President Donald Trump’s name on the Walk of Fame.

Hollywood Hills resident Andrew Rudick has spent three years submitting public records requests, retrieving court documents, speaking at city council meetings and corresponding with government officials in his quest to remove the ex-president’s star from the Walk of Fame operated by several entities, Raw Story writes.

“The reasonably conveyed message to the millions who have walked past that plaque since 2021 is the city’s endorsement of a man who attempted a coup against the United States,” Rudick told at the Los Angeles City Council earlier this month.

The star has been vandalized and smashed, necessitating more than $20,000 in repairs since 2016, but it’s not clear who would have the authority to remove it, with several groups having different levels of jurisdiction, including the City Council, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Hollywood Historic Trust.

This is not the first time that a crazed liberal has attacked Donald Trump’s star on the Walk of Fame. The wealthy heir of Otis Elevators, James Otis, attacked the Hollywood marker in 2016 with a pick axe and sledgehammer.

Appearing to be a little deluded, Otis said, “I destroyed the star, but considering the violence that has been committed (by Trump) — I’m a little sad that I had to (damage the star). I’m usually always non-violent. It seems in this one instance I broke some stone and marble to make a point.”

This would not be the first time that a leftwing activist committed a “mostly peaceful” act of violence.

No one has ever had their star removed from the Walk of Fame, let alone someone who epitomizes “fame” the way Donald Trump does.

The Los Angeles Times reported that “in 2015, Leron Gubler, then president and chief executive of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, told The Times that stars could not be removed. There were calls that year to remove the star belonging to Bill Cosby, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by more than 45 women and was found guilty of aggravated indecent assault in 2018. His conviction was later overturned.

‘Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame,’ Gubler told The Times in 2015 in an emailed statement. “Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.’

But the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has since changed its tune. According to Ana Martinez, the chamber’s vice president of media and talent relations, the chamber doesn’t have the power to remove a star.

‘The Chamber is authorized by the City to administer Walk of Fame ceremonies, select and honor the recipient, order the fabrication of the star and place the star in the sidewalk,’ Martinez said in an email, “but the Chamber does not have the authority from any jurisdiction to permanently remove a star.…We don’t understand why people think we do have that authority.’”

Donald Trump received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007 for his work as a producer of the Miss Universe pageants. Located on Hollywood Boulevard. The star has been restored each time it has been damaged.
