Biden Granddaughter Who Supported Gun Restrictions Happy To Have Personal Protection

Democrats demanding that the police should be defunded and that Americans should turn in their firearms used for self-protection always seem to also be the ones who hire out security. Unsurprisingly, Joe Biden’s liberal family is no different.

Last year, after Marco Rubio and Ron Johnson complained that the Senate needed to slow its roll on passing new gun restrictions, liberal media went into rapture over the president’s granddaughter, Naomi Biden, the daughter of Hunter, attacking Republicans on Twitter.

Gun reform activist Fred Guttenberg and liberal partisans praised Biden for her response:

Fast forward a year or so, and crime in the nation’s capital has continued to rise, especially carjackings. Luckily for Naomi, though, when she was targeted for a violent crime, she had personal security, unlike “the little people.”

A Secret Service agent guarding one of President Biden’s granddaughters fired at three people seen breaking into an unoccupied government vehicle in Washington late Sunday but did not appear to have hit them, according to a senior law enforcement official, according to The New York Times.

The three people remain at large, and there is no indication that they knew that the vehicle was part of the protective detail for Mr. Biden’s granddaughter Naomi Biden when they smashed a window around 11:30 p.m. in the upscale Georgetown section of the city.

“Secret Service agents encountered possibly three individuals breaking a window on a parked and unoccupied government vehicle,” a spokesman for the Secret Service said in a statement. “During this encounter, a federal agent discharged a service weapon and it is believed no one was struck.”

The three fled in a red vehicle, and a bulletin was immediately issued to local and federal law enforcement agencies. The incident is being investigated by the District of Columbia’s Metropolitan Police Department and the Secret Service.

The DC Metropolitan Police Department and the Secret Service are now investigating the incident.

Naomi Biden isn’t the only Democrat to have been attacked over the past year as the nation’s capital since BLM protesters painted “defund the police” in large yellow letters on streets in Washington and the city’s leaders responded by cutting $15 million from the police department budget.

In October, Rep. Henry Cuellar says he was carjacked. CNN reported that “the armed carjacking took place at the intersection of K Street and New Jersey Avenue in Southeast DC’s Navy Yard neighborhood, according to an alert from the DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency. Police are searching for three male suspects, the alert said.

Cuellar said his sushi dinner, phone, iPad and car were all stolen, but later recovered. The incident occurred around 9:32 p.m. Monday night while he was parking his car.

“They came out of nowhere and they pointed guns at me. I do have a black belt, but I recognize when you got three, three guns, yeah, I looked at one with a gun another with a gun, no one behind me. So they said they wanted my car, I said, ‘Sure.’ You got to keep calm under those situations and then they took off. They recovered the car, they recovered everything,” Cuellar told reporters.

Lest he anger his radical base, the Democrat joked that what most upset him was not being violently attacked, but the fact that the thieves had stolen his sushi dinner.

Crime in Washington has grown significantly in the nation’s capital since the pandemic, with carjackings in the area increasing dramatically in recent years. Although there were only roughly 200 carjackings in the District and its inner-ring suburbs in 2018, the number nearly quadrupled to over than 1,000 in 2022, according to a Washington Post analysis.

Luckily for the Democratic congressman and Joe Biden’s granddaughter, they have the Capitol Police and Secret Service. The other people living in Washington, D.C.? They’re on their own.
