The Tables Turn On AOC And She Hates It

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez apparently can only dish it and not take it. When a pro-Palestinian protester tracked down the leading member of the Squad, and one of the loudest mouthpieces of what’s been labeled the “Hamas Caucus,” she got angry and flustered.

The film crew caught the representative coming out of a movie with Riley Roberts. AOC lists Roberts as her “spouse” on disclosure forms despite not being married, which has been called a breach of House ethics rules.

Did she enjoy the movie at least?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez lashed out at protesters at a Brooklyn movie theater who demanded the lefty lawmaker call Israel’s military campaign in Gaza a “genocide,” which she claimed she’d already done, video of the confrontation shows, writes The New York Post.

Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was with her fiancé, Riley Roberts, when she lost her cool and dropped an f-bomb as a couple of protesters badgered her at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema around 5 p.m. Monday.

The protesters complained that Ocasio-Cortez, 34, hasn’t publicly called Israel’s bombing of the Palestinian territory a “genocide” as they accosted her inside the downtown Brooklyn theater, according to the footage.

The protesters continued to trail behind the Democrat, who was visibly aggravated as she made her way toward the exit. Between sets of escalators, Ocasio-Cortez got in the face of the protesters to again defend herself before walking away.

“You refuse to call it a genocide,” one of the protesters can be heard states, to which Ocasio-Cortez fires back: “I need you to understand that this is not okay.”

“It’s not okay that there’s a genocide happening and you’re not actively against it,” the protester says.

“You’re lying!” Ocasio-Cortez screams back.

The video shows the protesters following her down the escalator, criticizing her for not labeling the war against Hamas by Israel a “genocide.”

“If you can’t say it, just say it. Literally. We’re just talking to you like normal people. Just say it’s a genocide. Just say it. Over 30,000 people are dead AOC, you can’t just say it for once?” another protester shouts, citing figures from the Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza, Fox News noted. “Just say the word, that’s it. That’s all we want you to say.”

AOC has shown that she only supports activist tactics when she’s the one deploying them. In 2018, she joined over 200 youth activist and, according to Politico, “flooded House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s office this morning urging Democrats to act more decisively on climate change.

Capitol Police said they arrested 51 protesters for unlawfully demonstrating outside Pelosi’s office in the Cannon House Office Building. The arrests began a few hours after the demonstration began, when protesters refused to leave the area. Pelosi said she welcomed the protest and called on the police ‘to allow them to continue to organize and participate in our democracy.’

Ocasio-Cortez, who left before the arrests began, said she was there to support the protesters and encourage Pelosi to listen to them. Ocasio-Cortez has not made clear yet whether she’ll back Pelosi for speaker when Democrats hold leadership elections later this month, though noted today she’s ‘looking forward to us working together.’”

Ironically, given who filmed her, congresswoman from New York has been described as a “mouthpiece for Hamas” after she claimed that Irael’s retaliation for Hamas murdering over 1,000 Jews and kidnapping hundreds more was “ethnic cleansing.”

New Conservative Post noted last October that Ocasio-Cortez is part of a bigger group of leftwingers across the West who have allowed themselves to become so coopted by identity politics that they are standing on the side of reinvigorating what one commentator has called “the world’s oldest hatred.”

Last November, the Democratic Socialists of America, of which AOC is the “foremost socialist superstar,” held a rally that supported Palestine and failed to condemn the terrorist attacks of October 7.

The rally caused another far-left congressman, Shri Thanedar from Michigan, to quit the DSA.

“Today, I am officially renouncing my membership in the Democratic Socialists of America. After the brutal terrorist attacks on Israel, which included the indiscriminate murder, rape, and kidnapping of innocent men, women, and children, I can no longer associate with an organization unwilling to call out terrorism in all its forms,” he wrote in a statement.

“Sunday’s hate-filled and antisemitic rally in New York City, promoted by the NYC-DSA, makes it impossible for me to continue my affiliation. I stand with Israel and its right to defend itself. There is no place for moral equivocation in the face of unadulterated evil as we have seen from Hamas,” Thanedar added.

While AOC denounced the rampant antisemtism of the group she belongs to, she has thus far refused to step down.
